By guest blogger Karen Freeman Lately the weather has allowed many of us to have time to work projects that we may have started or start new ones. Recently, I was able to work on a vintage dishcloth pattern that can still work very well today. The hardest part of this pattern was choosing the colors. Creme de la Creme has 50 beautiful colors which made my choices endless. I found Creme de la Creme an easy yarn to crochet with. While it is sturdy enough for a dishcloth, it is a combed cotton making it soft enough for garments or accessories. I can see myself knitting or crocheting something for the summer season. I am very excited to have worked with the yarn. I look forward to exploring my options. Here is the pattern I worked up using the Creme de la Creme. I happened to choose variegated colors against a solid background, but you could really do solid on solid and it would have a similar dramatic effect. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
