Whether you use it as a decoration or hang it in your closet, this heart sachet is a beautiful gift for yourself or someone else. Fill it with potporri for a fragrant sachet. To use as a pincushion, fill with ground walnut shells. They’re available at some quilt stores, as well as pet supply stores.

1 rectangle, 9” x 12” (22.86cm x 30.48cm) pink felt
1 scrap pink cotton print, 3 ½” x 4” (8.89cm x 10.16cm)
3 small beads
1 button, 7/8” (2.22cm)
¼ yd heart print ribbon, 5/8” (1.59cm)
Potpourri and/or polyester stuffing*
Coats Bold Hand Quilting thread in contrast color
Coats Dual Duty XP All-purpose thread in coordinating color
Pattern tracing cloth or plastic template material
Decorative edge scissors
