Free Beginner Knit Afghans/Blankets Pattern for Home

By the looks of the lovely lace edging, you might think this knit blanket is a lot harder than it is to complete. In fact, it's a simple pattern that knits up quickly and easily with 2 strands of yarn held together throughout. The body features a cushiony garter stitch design in a variegated shade of Caron Jumbo. Then, stitching with Caron One Pound, you'll get to practice pick-up-and-knit, plus yarn overs, to achieve the lace border trim at both ends. for added pizzazz, we've topped it all off with wonderful flouncy fringe. Cuddle up under this cozy layer of warmth in the family room, bedroom or your favorite quiet space.
