Simply Adorable Pompom Pumpkin!

Today we’re going to make some ghoulish gourds by whipping up some super easy pompom pumpkins! Take a look at our step by step instructions for this fun, no-needle Halloween craft!

What you’ll need:

• 1 ball of orange Bernat Super Value
• Scissors
• Hot glue gun
• Green pipe cleaners
• Googly eyes

Step 1

Wrap your yarn around the palm of your hand approximately 100 times and cut yarn.

Step 2

Slip the wrapped strands off your hand. Be sure to keep them all together and tidy!

Step 3

Tie a strand of yarn around the center of the wrapped yarn as tightly as possible, securing it with a knot.

Step 4

Cut through the looped ends of yarn on each side of the tie. Make sure you get each one! Don’t worry about whether they are even as Step 5 will take care of that!

Step 5

Trim the shape of the pom pom with scissors until you are satisfied with the edges.

Step 6

Attach a small piece of green pipe cleaner to the center tie and fluff up the pompom.

Step 7

Glue googly eyes to your Pumpkin Pom Pom to give it some character!
