Tote it All

Skill Level: Beginner

Banner Image

This fun, simple project quickly transforms a t-shirt into a tote. Choose a t-shirt with a fun pattern or graphic to elevate your tote. I recommend using a heavier weight cotton t-shirt with little or no elastane to ensure your t-shirt doesn’t stretch too much when filled. This also makes sewing a little easier.

Supplies

Make a tote from a t-shirt

1. Lay your t-shirt flat.
