EZ Knitting: How to Cast Off

Casting off, also known as binding off, is the process of putting a finishing edge on your EZ-knitting piece. It's important to cast off to ensure that your finished project does not unravel during wear, use or wash.

Below, our Stitch Ambassador Mikey of The Crochet Crowd will show you how to cast off on your Ez-knitting project.

Step 1

Starting at the side of your project farthest from the project yarn (in this example the far right side), pull the second last loop second last loop through the last loop.

Tips

Mikey recommends stitching through the back of your stitchwork in a place where it won't be obvious that you've done some stitching. Also, be mindful not too pull to hard as you stitch to avoid warping your project.
