Free Easy Crochet Rug Pattern for Home

This fun crochet rug pattern works up fast in chunky Bernat Plush Big. Simply start the chain with separate balls of yarn for each color section to keep the checkerboard pattern visible from the start. In such a plush, jumbo yarn, it's easy to keep track of the pattern once you've worked a few rows. This is a great small project for mastering crochet intarsia. Measuring 3' x 5' it's a comfy cozy bedside runner. Don't forget to attach a standard anti-slip rug pad underneath to prevent shifting.
