Welcome to the June Featured Throw of the Month! This month we have the Lacy Floral Throw made in With Love yarn. Each month we will have a new themed throw as a featured free pattern. Download the Lacy Floral Throw! Tip The throw this month is made in With Love, but the samples are done in Soft. The pictures show how to make the cluster stitch [Cl (3 treble crochet cluster)] from the Special Stitches section. The cluster is a collection of 3 treble crochet stitches worked into the same stitch and combining at the top. This sample is worked into a single crochet row with two treble crochets on the row already. In the actual pattern you will be working the cluster into chain spaces and previously-made clusters. To start, yarn over twice, put your hook into the indicated stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have four loops on your hook. Yarn over and draw through two loops on your hook, then yarn over and draw through another two loops on your hook. You will have two loops remaining on your hook and have one partially made treble crochet. Start from the beginning again: yarn over twice, put your hook into the same stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have five loops on your hook. Then yarn over and draw through two loops on your hook two times. You will have three loops on your hook and have two partially made treble crochets. Start from the beginning a second time: yarn over twice, put your hook into the same stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have six loops on your hook. Then yarn over and draw through two loops on your hook two times. You will have four loops on your hook and have three partially made treble crochets. Finally, yarn over and draw through all four loops on your hook.
