Cable patterns add depth and texture to your EZ-knitting and they are easy to learn. Below, our Stitch Ambassador Mikey of The Crochet Crowd will show you how to cable knit on your EZ-knitting project. Step 1 Count out your loops and make sure all of your loops are pointing upwards. Step 2 Take the first loop from the working yarn and feed it through the back of the last loop of your project yarn. Continue across until you reach the end. Step 3 Pull up the loops of your yarn project. Step 4 Take the first loop from the project yarn, cross it over the second loop of the project yarn and pinch the base to hold them together. Step 5 Take the next loop of the working yarn and pass it through the back of the criss crossed loop to your right. Step 6 Take the next loop of the working yarn and pass it through the back of the criss crossed loop to your left. Continue until you reach the end of your row. Step 6 Alternate between knit stitch rows and criss crossed rows until you reach the required numbers of rows for your project. Tips If you're doing a cable and you would like them to be aligned vertically, do them in even (2, 4, 6, 8, etc.) loop counts rather than odd counts (7, 9, 11, 13, etc.).
