It's great to see that Fall knit and crochet magazine editors are featuring Red Heart projects so wonderfully in so many of the new fall issues. As you can see below, we've even made the cover of two of our favorite knitting magazines. August is the prime time that I seem to collect my yarns and plan what I'm going to knit and crochet to perk up my wardrobe, my home or give as gifts. These magazines have inspired me. Here are some of the projects I like As Seen on the cover of Creative Knitting Pack & Go Throw by Cathy Payson is made in blocks and is easy enough to take with me and work on wherever I go. As Seen on the cover of Love of Knitting Moon Shadows Cardigan by Jodi Snyder is knit from the top down making it easy to check the fit as you go. Knit in Boutique Midnight, it has shaded colors and sparkle, both of which I love. As Seen in Knitn Style Cable Best Vest by Heather Lodinsky is also in Midnight.mmm, I like this too. Mitered Square Jacket by Julie Farmer done in join as you go fashion so there's no messy seams between the squares. As Seen in Crochet! Ruffled Sparks Clutch by Andee Graves is a neat new way to use Sashay yarn. Perfect little bag to stick in my suitcase and add a bit of glam to a black outfit. As Seen in Crochet Today! Casting Cape by Shannon Mullett-Bowlsby is sized from XS to 4X. Great gift for all ages and all sizes! And Treasure comes in some beautiful colors. Homecoming Queen Shrug by Kristin Omdahl would look nice on my nieces. Love the way it starts with a granny square in the back. Cherry on Top Apron by Beth Nielsen is the perfect hostess gift. I think my cake pop making sister would look perfect in it! Planning yarn projects and collecting supplies is one of the most fun parts of being a knitter and crocheter! Hope you enjoy planning your projects too!
