EZ-knitting large projects like afghans, blankets and scarves is much more manageable and portable when done in panels. Below, our Stitch Ambassador Mikey of The Crochet Crowd will show you how to join those panels together. Step 1 Count out the required loops for your project and cast on leaving the final loop of your next panel, which we will call panel A, free. Step 2 Line up the loop the panel you would like to connect, which we will call panel B, with the loop from Panel A. Step 3 Take the next loop from the working yarn and pass it through the lined up loops, back to front. Step 4 Take the loop that was just pass through the two loops and line it up with the next loop on the edge of panel B. Step 5 For the next row, do not turn the yarn and instead work left to right. Do not work the first loop. Instead, leave it out and instead cross the second loop over the third loop and then pull the next loop in the working yarn through the loop, form back to front. Step 6 Work across Panel A, from right to left and left to right until you reach panel B. Step 7 Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 and 3 until you've completed the required amount of rows.
