Inspired by the Nordic Lifestyle, Yarnspirations presents the Stepping Textured Hat. This pattern plus 6 more are in the new lookbook, Northern Lights. Textures are in trend and crocheters do like to break free from the regular flat services of standard stitches. The pattern lends itself well to having a stepping texture or what I would like to say as a twirling affect as the hat progresses to the top. For me personally, I prefer hats that have space at the top. It gives me a nostalgic feeling of the cold winter months of my childhood. As soon as there’s a pom pom, I’m in love. I just cannot explain it. In the pattern provided, Yarnspirations also has a crochet diagram to follow so you can understand what is happening in the stitchwork. So while the pompom idea sold me, the crochet diagram has my hands quivering to dive right in. It’s only using a couple balls of Bernat Softee Chunky Yarn too. Definitely tres chic and affordable! Even more cooler, pardon the pun, there are 48 colors of the Bernat Softee Chunky Yarn to choose from! Crazy right? Feeling inspired yet? Why not try this hat. We would love to see your creativity of this hat on our Facebook Page too! Stepping Textured Hat Video Tutorial Featured Yarn
