Free Beginner Knit Afghans/Blankets Pattern For Home

It doesn't get much easier or luxurious than this wonderful knit blanket that even a beginner can create! Stitched in our super-bulky Bernat Velvet Plus, pattern is worked completely in garter stitch making it a great option for both beginners and seasoned knitters looking to create a speedy throw. The bias design is achieved by starting in the corner and increasing at the beginning of each row to create the first side of the blanket, and then decreasing to the opposite corner. It's a very basic increasing and decreasing technique that involves yarn overs and knitting 2 stitches together for a blanket you can enjoy in very little time.
