Bernat Pop! Yarn Review

Bernat Pop! is a versatile worsted weight yarn featuring self-striping colors in every cake! You can use it to make everything from garments to home decor, and every project will be super unique.

Made of easy to care for, machine washable and dryable, 100% acrylic, Bernat Pop! is a very versatile yarn. It is made with a gentle twist, giving it a soft finish. The self-striping cakes feature 5 distinct colors per colorway, and there are an amazing 29 colorways to choose from! There are neutrals, jewel tones, brights, pastels, and more – it’s a great variety!

Bernat Pop! Yarn

Cake yarn is always fun to use – with an easy center pull, there's that added satisfaction you feel every time to get to a new color section. Not to mention that feeling we get when we see it become a hollow cake, when there are only a few yards left!

One of my favorite knit patterns featuring Bernat Pop! is the Bernat On Repeat Knit Pullover. This sweater sample was made with the Scarlet Sizzle colorway, but you can of course use any of the colors – and it would change the look dramatically!

And I've designed two crochet patterns using Bernat Pop! myself! The Easy One Skein Bandana Cowl is simple and relaxing to crochet, and it takes just one cake of Bernat Pop! I used the Ebony and Ivory colorway for a neutral look, but I've loved seeing the ones people have made in the other colorways. This is incredibly easy. A simple rectangle is folded and seamed, and done!

I’ve also designed the Bernat Colorblock Ruffle Front Vest for Yarnspirations! This cute little cardi pattern fits children ages 2 to 8 years, and is made in just one piece. It's so fun to see how the colors look in each pattern you make with this yarn – every piece will be just that little bit different!

Bernat Pop! is a great yarn to add to your stash, for everything from one skein quickies to cozy sweaters and blankets – the only hard part is picking which of the amazing colors to try first!
