lesson by week
lesson 1: Starting At The Toe
In this first week, we begin with some quick discussion about supplies, sizing and gauge before casting on for our socks. We'll then go over step-by-step instructions for casting on and working the Cable and Rib pattern of the foot.
lesson 2: Cables Continued
We begin this second lesson by increasing stitches to form the heel gusset! After the gusset is complete, things really start to take shape with a fun and great fitting method for turning the heel!
lesson 3: Finishing With A Cuff
In the final Lesson, we turn the small cables from the foot into wider cables worked along each side of the leg, broken up by 2x2 ribbing. Once the leg is complete, a ribbed cuff and a nice, stretchy bind-off complete the sock!
