Free Stars And Trees Garland Pattern

Cut simple shapes from holiday-themed fabrics to create this garland. Use the patterns provided, or add more. The designs are stitched and then cut apart. This is a great beginner sewing project and can even be a family craft activity when it's time to cut them apart and attach them to the garland.

• Coats & Clark™ Jeans Topstitching Thread.
• ¼ yd (23cm) two tree fabrics*.
• ¼ yd (23cm) two star fabrics*.
• ¼" (.64cm) jute rope, in length desired.
• Star buttons, 1" (2.5cm), one for each motif.
• Cotton batting.
• Removablemarker.
• Pinking shears.

*More fabric may be needed for extra motifs, depending on the desired garland length.
