The secret is a magnet that keeps the bag in place at your waistband. The open pocket is handy access for your phone and two zippered pockets hold other items out of sight. Coats & Clark polyester zippers are strong and durable for this project. Sew with Dual Duty (XP) polyester thread for best results.

  • ¼ yd (23cm) woven nylon fabric (ripstop or lightweight pack cloth), main color.
  • ¼ yd (23cm) contrast woven nylon fabric.
  • One magnet, 11/8" (3cm) square.
  • 2½" (6.5cm) grosgrain ribbon, 7/8" (2cm) wide.
  • Zipper foot.
