Simple garter stitch and stocking stitch stripes combine with easy color changes to create this textured knit blanket that's inspired by trees. Stitching in Bernat Crushed Velvet, the center panel is worked from side to side to create long vertical stripes across the blanket. Horizontal stripes are then picked up and knit along the edges at the end. Finally, with a little i-cord and some simple yarn over eyelet increases, precious leaves spring forward to adorn the edges of this delightful blanket.
