TChristmas in July lesson 1, Crochet

Let's start baking! This project is worked from the center outward and features easy repeats for a relaxing experience. Our center point comes together through rows of standing single crochets and some double crochets in the back loop only to add texture. Watch your project develop as our rows begin to look like piped icing on a delicious sugar cookie.

Welcome back for our second lesson! With our center point completed, we'll be building our blanket up through bold textured rows. Join us for alternating front and back post single crochets, a round that features a lovely petal-like stitch pattern, and plenty of alternating popcorns and posts!

Christmas in July lesson 3, Crochet

Ready for Week 3? In this lesson we'll be moving from our circular pattern to rows of waves, featuring some cluster v stitches and faux popcorns on the wrong side for a pop of texture. We'll begin making our star points in round 35 and watch their height grow gradually row after row.

Christmas in July lesson 4, Crochet

We've arrived at our final lesson and we're this-much closer to a completed cookie! This week we're continuing to build bright wavy rows that mimic the look of icing on a sweet holiday treat. We'll create a new star point that eventually transitions our blanket to a circle shape in the 49th round. Final rows of textured Cluster V stitches add some weight and wrap up our project like a present.
