Mikey designed this year's SAL with the inspiration from taking a walk in the park. Each week you will visit a new spot to inspire your stitching: tulips, a paddleboat, cobblestones, the carousel and heading home. Using 8 shades of Red Heart Super Saver, the colors allow this afghan to fit into any decor scheme. Create the unique diamond shapes with a diamond corner sharp point, while varying combos of popcorn stitches and treble crochets build this textured masterpiece. Designed like the quilting concept of diamonds that burst outward from the center, the star shape is then filled with triangular motifs to link the pieces together.
