lesson 1: Starting At The Toe

Patons Toe-up Cabled Crochet Socks

In our first week, we'll assemble the materials needed, and work up a gauge swatch to be sure we're on the right track! We'll then move on to starting our socks, by working the toe section in single crochet as a spiral.

TIP

If you prefer not to use the magic loop method, you can begin with a starting chain of 2 and work 10 sc into the 2nd chain from your hook.

lesson 2: Cables Continued

Stitch markers will help orient the placement of the first round of post-stitches. Once the cable pattern is established after this first round, it's intuitive to work!
