"This sweater tunic covers a lot of important fall trends: A-line shape, all-over cables and a split hem. I love the challenge of cable designs and Patons® Alpaca Blend™ shows off all the stitch-work beautifully."
"I wanted to create a poncho that was a little less bohemian and a little more uptown."
"I wanted to give the men in our lives a classic, easy to wear sweater that would suit a variety of fashion styles."
"A simple moss stitch complements the tweed shades."
"My inspiration came from my interest in art history. I've always enjoyed Frank Stella's line work and used it to fuel my idea."

I’ve been fortunate to make my passion for yarn a career for many years and I’m still learning new things. My favorite way to work through my at-home stash is making blankets. I also love to hang out in my garden whenever I can.
A self-taught designer, I use my art and design background whenever I can, especially when it comes to combining colours - my favourite! I always have several projects on the go and love to D.I.Y. anything I can.
My Nana taught me how to knit and crochet when I was small - little did I know she was laying the groundwork for my career as a Knit and Crochet designer! After studying Fashion Design in college, I joined Patons and have been a designer here for 10 years. It is still amazing to me that I get to come to work every day and do what I love.
Admittedly, my first project was a half-finished dishcloth I made as a child when my Aunt first taught me to knit. It wasn’t until my university years that I truly learned the joy and satisfaction of knitting and crocheting. I now enjoy a career doing what helped me relax and hope these patterns do the same for you.
I am a junior designer with Patons North America. My mother taught me how to knit when I was a child. Before joining the Patons design team, I completed graduate research in politics and aesthetics. When I am not knitting or crocheting, I am most likely to be found at the park with my dog, Scylla.
