Yarn Patons Canadiana Yarn in Lime Juice
Just as the green shoots are pushing through the ground and the bright green leaves are unfurling from my trees, I finished the spring-like Zip Neck Sweater I’ve been making for Son 2.
I popped along to the craft store and picked up a 7″ zip and look at this color match!
It’s a quick knit and the yarn is lovely and soft. It was a breeze to sew up, even with the raglan sleeves. Even the zip didn’t scare me – they come with good instructions in the packet, if you haven’t tried one before.
Perfect for those chilly spring evenings when you’re on your way out to karate class…

Knitting Sleeves & Rib Stitches
The pattern for this one is really nicely written, with not only the number of stitches you’re supposed to cast off, but the number you should have left.

Saddle Shoulders and Steam Blocking
I did it. I finally reached the top of my knitted-at-the-same-time sleeves. The next step is to sew the sleeves to the front and back.
