Kickstart Monday: Alligator Pencil Case

Welcome to Kickstart Monday! Some of you may remember this feature from the Bernat blog. If you’re not familiar, here’s how it works: Every Monday we’ll bring you a quick and easy free pattern to kickstart your week. If there are specific types of patterns you’d like to see more of, let us know!

This week’s Alligator Pencil Case pattern is perfect for back to school. It’s fast, fun, and a great place for kids (and kids at heart) to stash all of their supplies.

Here’s what you’ll need to make it:

  • Hot Green (01712) 1 ball
  • White (00001) 1 ball
  • Size U.S. G/6 (4 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
  • 4 stitch markers
  • 7″ [18 cm] zipper
  • Small amount of black embroidery floss for embroidery

Remember to share photos of your finished pencil cases with us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram! We can’t wait to see how they turn out.
