Pattern Details
Sew a stylish Bucket bag. Select a modern fabric print and “fussy cut” as quilters call it, to add extra style with a wrap-around appliqué band. Add grommets and a drawstring to create the "bucket". This tote is quick and easy to sew with Coats & Clark All-purpose thread.

  • Coats & Clark™ Dual Duty XP® All-purpose Thread.
  • 7/8 yd (80cm) outer fabric, like linen or home décor weight.
  • ½ yd (50cm) accent fabric*.
  • 1/3 yd (30.5cm) lining fabric.
  • 1 yd (1m) medium-weight fusible woven interfacing, 20" (51cm) wide.
  • 3/8 yd (34.5cm) fusible fleece, 45" (114.5cm) wide.
  • One square, 12" (30.5cm), sew-in foam.
  • One square, 12" (30.5cm), stiff craft stabilizer.
  • Ten metal grommets, ½" (1.5cm) interior diameter**.
  • 1½ yds (1.5m) cord, ¼" (.64cm) diameter.
  • Paper-back fusible web.
  • Removable marker.
  • Seam sealant (optional).
