A group of Canadian knitters are on a mission to yarn bomb Ontario’s Discovery Harbour! Originally built as a British naval and military base to guard upper Canada after the war of 1812, Discovery Harbour is celebrating its 200th anniversary this summer.
To help then get started, we (Spinrite) donated more than 400 lbs of yarn to support this historic yarn bombing effort, which includes covering the entire Discovery Harbour area, including a 124-foot replica warship that sits in the harbour!
