Kroy Socks FX Yarn is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid workhorse sock yarn I love this yarn for socks and fingerless mitts. It’s easy to work with and holds up to heavy use and repeated (gentle) washing. The colors are great. This is my go to sock yarn, especially for gifts.

I asked if you had yarns to coordinate with Socks FX yarn 'Cascade Colors', but you you didn't have them. HOWEVER - I'd like you to check to see if you have FINGERING wt yarn in the darker blue & brown that would coordinate with Cascade Colors. Thx.

    Asked by: Linda G
Hi. The only other fingering weight yarns that we have are Patons Kroy and Bernat Baby (pastel shades). All of our fingering weight products are available at: http://www.yarnspirations.com/1_super_fine_fingering-yarn

Can you tell me which solid or tweeded brown yarn, and aqua/blue yarn, would 'match' or coordinate with the Patons Kroy Sock FX, 'Cascade Colors'? And... where can I purchase the three yarns?

    Asked by: Linda G
Hi. We only have 5 solid colors in the Patons Kroy sock yarn, muslin, gentry gray, red, coal and flax.

What is the difference between Kroy Socks yarn and Kroy Socks FX yarn? Is it just the colours?

    Asked by: theresasocklady
They knit up the same and wear the same. From what I can tell (as a customer, not the designer), the regular Kroy Socks is died after all the plies are wound into yarn, while the FX is died either before the singles are spun or as singles, before they are all plied into the final yarn. The FX effect is more of a tweedy, subtle color change over many rows, rather than the sharply defined stripes in many of the regular Kroy Socks colors.
