Jumbo Yarn is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from hugely disappointing I bought three skeins of Perennial Variegated to make an afghan using a Caron pattern. About four inches into the thing, I came upon a break in the yarn. I tied in the next end and that ended after about four yards. Tied in again and finished the skein. Started the next skein and encountered a knot; continued on and hit another knot after a few yards. I called Yarnspirations to report this and was told by someone that industry standards allow two knots per skein. Had not known that, so I continued on. By the time I had finished that skein, I had encountered four more knots, for a total of six knots. Well beyond industry standards.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from UG! While I don't know the color I purchased. Red, Dark blue, light blue and white. It is like crocheting with spider webs. It is SO sticky. And when I tried to pull from the center I got a giant glob of yarn puke. I can't believe all the yarn is like this....I would possibly try it one more time just to see if it was the same or not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great to work with I bought this yarn to make a throw for my girlfriend and her husband new home. I showed the page of the colors and she chose the one that would suit her living room. I find this yarn very nice to work with, I am crocheting the throw. The yarn is of good quality and doesn't split. I am pleased as how it is p rogressing so far. I would definitely choose your yarns again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, love my Jumbo yarn! I bought this yarn on the recommendation of Yarnspirations lap blanket I wanted to try. I am so glad I did! This is a soft yarn. It slides across my fingers smoothly without feeling scratchy or rough. I have enjoyed working with my Carron Jumbo yarn. Another outstanding benefit is the beautiful color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great colors Bought a month ago. Forain part each ball is lightweight and has a bit of stretch with a mohair look. There are stretches however that have twice the thickness making heavy sections without the mohair look. Overall yarn is easy to work with and a great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jumbo Yarn I always go back to the Caron Jumbo, love the colors they now have and also the feeling of the yarn while working with it, when I need to make scarves and chemo hats. I try to make sets for chemo patients. .

I love your Caron Jumpbo yarn. I am looking for coordinating solid colors. I use the rosewood and the dalmation variegated the most. Do you have any suggestions for solid coordinating solid colors. I make and donate hats and scarfs.

Hi. Caron One Pound is the best product to work with Caron Jumbo. Dalmatian - black, any of the grays would work, you could also add white. Rosewood - white, off white, soft pink and rose. happy crafting.

Caron: Please do not discontinue "forget me not" color. I shop a lot of sites and this color combination is beautiful and not duplicated by other companies. Nancy

    Asked by: Nancy98
I wish we had a warning something will be discontinued ,if we knew it was going to be we would stock up or buy enough to finish a project. Many of us do not have a lot of money to buy lots in advance,so we buy a little at a time .Such a shame. Only thing ladies I would suggest on some of the sites you use is to ask if anyone has enough to finish your project & offer to buy it if they want to sell it & you pay shipping also

I am making a blanket out of Canon Jumbo country basket 09009 and highlighted number 294009. I still need about 4 12oz skeins. Does the numbers have to match or can I use any canon country basket yarn?

    Asked by: Nanato5
The highlighted number is the dye lot so it probably means you should try to find matching dye lots. What I did was take one of my existing skeins to my yarn store to see how much of a difference there was and if I could live with it. You might try that. Good Luck!!
