The stitch count is not correct on this pattern. I have tried this several times and the pattern does not match up. It appears to Be out by one stitch on each row. Can you tell me.do you sc in the last ch3?  Maybe that is what is happening. Please help!

    Asked by: Lindas
I have double checked the stitch count for this pattern and it all worked out. Below is the stitch count for the 1st row, hope this helps. The pattern has a repeat of 17 sts plus 20 [17 sts worked 7 times = 119 sts plus 20 = 139 sts] With A, ch 139. 1st row: (RS). 1 dc in 4th ch from hook (counts as 2 dc). [4 CHAINS USED] 2 dc in each of next 2 ch. [2 CHAINS USED] (Miss next ch. 1 dc in next ch) 5 times. [2 X 5 = 10 CHAINES USED] *Miss next ch. 2 dc in each of next 6 ch. (Miss next ch. 1 dc in next ch) 5 times. Rep from * [{1 + 6 (2 X 5 = 10)} 17 STS REPEATED ACORSS BETWEEN * AND * ] to last 4 ch. Miss next ch. 2 dc in each of last 3 ch. Turn. [4 CHAINES USED]

Thanks for the quick response. When you say the first stitch does it mean I go into the same chain as the turning chain of the next stitch

    Asked by: Lindas
you work into the very first st right at the turning chain.

I have tried this pattern several times but the stitches do not match up. Do you have the stitch multiple?  also when pattern says ch1 sc in each dc across, does your 1st stitch go into the same st as the turning ch?  For pattern row is it dc sk dc 5 time

    Asked by: Lindas
This pattern has a multiple of 17 sts plus 20. On the 2nd row your first sc will work into the very first st. The repeat section of the pattern reads as follows. *Miss next sc. 2 dc in each of next 6 sc. (Miss next sc. 1 dc in next sc) 5 times. Rep from *
