Sweet Baby Hoodie is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but a little confusing I started making this sweater for my newborn grandson. Everything was fine until i started the front right side. I wish the directions showed exactly what to do gor the neck shaping instead of me having to try and figure out how to work it backwards. I keep end ip losing a stitch somewhere. Frustrating!! I only reccommend to sn experienced crocheter.

How do I attach the hood. Do I attach in the "v" in button row

When attaching the hood you will pick up the edge stitches and sew the hat to the body of the garment. good luck.

I absolutely love this sweater.. how can I increase it to say a 4T for my granddaughter?

    Asked by: janice55
HI. The Sweet Baby Hoodie pattern only goes up to a 24 month size, sorry we do not have that pattern in larger sizes. There are a number of crochet sweater patterns available for a 4T, you can find them at: http://www.yarnspirations.com/patterns/kids-sweater-crochet-patterns

Hi I am a new to crochet. Can you please tell me if the English pattern should be worked in UK stitch or US as I believe they are both different. Thank you for your help.

    Asked by: Newbie
Hi. All of our patterns use North American terms. We follow the standards put out by Yarn Craft Council of America.

I'm almost finished with the yoke but it's unclear where to start the lower part. Where are the "arm holes".

    Asked by: Colleen
Hi. This sweater is worked from the bottom of the sweater up to the shoulders. Once you have worked the back until the pattern reads: Rep last row until work from beg measures 61/2 (7-73/4-81/2)" [16.5 (18- 19-21.5) cm], ending with RS facing and omitting turning ch at end of last row. You will than start the armhole shaping: Shape armholes: Next row: Sl st in each of first 4 sts. Ch 2. 1 hdc in each st to last 4 sts. Ch 2. Turn. Leave rem sts unworked. 31 (35-39-43) sts. Cont even until armhole measures 41/2 (5-51/4-51/2)" [11.5 (12.5-13-14) cm], ending with RS facing and omitting turning ch at end of last row. Fasten off. Hope this helps.
