Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good beginner pattern This the first pattern I did from this website. It was easy to follow and the instructions are clear. The end results are nice! I will be doing more patterns from here.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but there appears to be a mistake in the .pdf instructions. If you start with Color 1, shouldn't the square finish on Color 1? It seems as though the directions for the last color change were mistakenly omitted.

Hi. At the end of the Motif the pattern reads to Work from ** to ** once more. When you do this you will end with color 1. **With Color 2, rep 2nd and 3rd rows 3 times, then 2nd row once more. Join Color 1. With Color 1, rep 2nd and 3rd rows three times, then 2nd row once. ** Join Color 2 at end of last row. Work from ** to ** once more. Fasten off.

How do you suggest connecting the motifs together? The directions just say "sew motifs tog as shown in diagram". I understand they need to be connected to look like that pattern shown, but "how" to connect the motifs together? What type of stitch/yarn?
