Ripple Baby Blanket is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Closer to intermediate skill level I am knitting this baby blanket for a gift to someone having a baby soon. It is a pattern that adds stitches (yo) and takes off stitches (ktog). Once the first pattern set is completed, the next pattern set and the one thereafter, needs a line that stops at the other end so that the pattern does not go awry. I had to go back 3 times and came to this conclusion so that the total number of stitches after the purl row does not go too much larger than 89 stitches. For someone who is a beginner, the person would not be able to figure this out and become frustrated with this pattern. I am a patient knitter and so I was able to adjust the pattern with the "missing line" and keep the pattern progressing as it should be. Although I might be picky on the look of it, it more or less matches the picture presented here. I still have the ripple effect that the pattern introduces and it does look lovely to the person who is not necessarily a knitter and who would not know anything else about knitting a pattern.
