I'm not quite understanding how to do the unique drop stitch. Is there a picture to help explain how it's done (like the M1) or can it be broken down a bit more for a newbie?

HI. Sorry we do not have a video or image with additional info for the dropped st. I have added a little more info below.
6th row: P2. *Drop next st off of left needle and allow st to unravel 4 rows down. -- THIS WILL SEEM STRANGE, BUT THE ST WILL STOP UNRAVELLING AT THE 4TH ROW. -- Knit into center of st 5th st down and also under 4 loose strands, -- KNIT AROUND THE ST IN THE 5TH ROW DOWN AS WELL AS AROUND ALL 4 LOOSE STRANDS THAT WERE MADE WHEN YOU DROP THE ST. -- drawing up the st and catching the strands behind it. P2. Rep from * to end of row.
