Stuck on leg openings-pg. 2 work 1" in pat, do you go all the way over the slip stitches? then you are filling in the leg opening? doesn't make sense. Please help.

Each section will be worked separate, two sides and a back.
Note: All Leg sections are worked at the same time using separate balls of yarn for each section.
Once you have reached the 1" for you size you will join it all back together.
