Using an H hook, I have 7 sc in 2 inches and 6 rows in 2 inches for my swatch. There’s definitely something off as my swatch is half the size indicated in the pattern directions.

    Asked by: Cataloger25
There is an error on this pattern. Sorry, we will have it updated. The following is the gauge from the original pattern. 13 sts and 10 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in pat.

I’m trying to figure out gauge. It says, “7 sps and 6 rows = 4 inches.” Is that 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc?

    Asked by: Cataloger25
HI. I think that should read 7 sts not sps. How is your gauge if you go by 7 sts? Let me know so that we can update the pattern. Sorry for this inconvenience.

Hello I am wondering what the term pat=pattern means when it shows up in the instructions. For example the “Work 1 row even in pat.” And “Pat to end of row.”

    Asked by: Taija
Hi. The pattern is the repeat section of each row that you have been working - 1 sc in next dc. 1 dc in next sc. - this is the pattern that you have been repeating all of the way across the row. Work 1 row even in pat. - work pattern with no increases or decreases. Pat to end of row. - work in the pattern above to the end of the row.

Stuck on leg openings-pg. 2 work 1" in pat, do you go all the way over the slip stitches? then you are filling in the leg opening? doesn't make sense. Please help.

    Asked by: rosebudt
Work each of the 3 sections separately for 1" or whatever Pattern calls for. You'll need 3 "balls" of yarn but you can just unwind enough to do the small sections on the left and the right. Once u get to 1" at each of the 3 sections, break yarn and move to the joining instructions with the chains which will bridge the 3 sections back together and make the leg openings. Good luck!

Are the increases made on each row for the remainder of the pattern?

    Asked by: ragsy13
Hi. Please supply me with a little more information, what row are you working on?
