Cherry Pie Hot Pad is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Error in the pattern As written, the first round is incorrect. To lie flat, it should be a total of 12 dc in the first round, not 6. With only 6 dc, the center round buckles out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to follow, but assembly could be improved. I tried this after seeing it on the Crocher Crowd Facebook page. The rounds work up very quickly with the double crochet. The lattice crust pieces do not fit on the pie correctly when assembling. It would probably be better to attach a piece of the crust yarn to the round and work across that way rather than making them before. I would not recommend the pattern as written. Definitely needs improvement. Attached photo shows partial assembly. I stopped adding strips of the crust because they just didn't fit. Cutting them out to re-work.

Gauge says 15 sc and 16 rows=4" however the pattern uses dc? In the utube the center is not flat using DC (not sc) to start. The pattern is cute but I used my own circle that lays flat.

The gauge is worked in a sc, if your gauge is a little off not a big deal in this pot holder.
