I am a beginner in crocheting, just purchased a 12 oz Caron jumbo Country Basket yard-- any suggestions on Afghans or something else to make?

How do you dc in front of the dtr?Do you carry your yarn back to those beginning stitches and then crochet over it with the dcs?
Asked by: Mquags
Hi. In the 8th row you will skip (miss) 3 hdc, than work 1dtr in next hdc. Next you will go back to the 3 hdc that you skipped and work a dc into each of them.
8th row: With A, ch 3 (counts as dc). *Skip next 3 hdc. 1 dtr in next hdc. Working in front of last dtr,
1 dc in each of 3 skipped hdc. Rep from * to last hdc. 1 dc in last hdc. Turn.
