Rated 2 out of 5 by from Error in pattern writing Next row (RS): Ch 11 at beg of next row for left sleeve, work across front in pattern, working 1 less cl at end of row, turn. Work 1 row even in pattern. does this mean keep chaining across pattern or work one cluster in each?

I am having some trouble with understanding the instructions on this pattern, particularly when it gets to the "Shape neck and sleeve" part. How can I gt some clarifications or help with this pattern?

    Asked by: Dina95
HI. This sweater is worked in one piece from lower edge of front, up and over shoulder to back lower edge. Because it is made this way the shaping may sound a little strange. Once the left front is completed for the proper number of inches for your size you will move into shaping neck and sleeves, I have added some additional information, hope this helps. LEFT FRONT -- the bottom section of the left front is how completed, you will add sts at one side for the sleeve, the other side will be the center front of your sweater. Shape neck & sleeve Next row (RS): Ch 11 at beg of next row for left sleeve (THESE 11 CHAINS WILL CREATE YOUR SLEEVE). work across front in pattern (WORK ACROSS THE NEXT 11 CHAINS AS WELL AS THE STS FOR THE LEFT FRONT IN PATTERN) ( AT THE END OF THE ROW YOU WILL WORK ONE LESS CLUSTER, THIS IS THE CENTER FRONT) working 1 less cl at end of row, turn. Work 1 row even in pattern (EVEN IN PATTERN MEANS NO INCREASES OR DECREASES) (THE 11 CHAINS WILL BE WORKED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ROW, DOING THIS TWICE CREATES SHAPING AT THE UNDERARMS) Repeat these 2 rows once more—36 (38, 40, 44, 48, 52) sts. (CONTINUE IN PATTERN ON THE NUMBER OF STS FOR YOUR SIZE, UNTIL THE PIECE MEASURES THE PROPER NUMBER OF INCHES). Continue to dec at neck edge every other row 3 (3, 4, 4, 7, 9) more times, then every row 6 (6, 5, 5, 2, 0) times—27 (29, 31, 35, 39, 43) sts. Work even until neck measures 8 (8, 9, 9, 10, 11)”/20.5 (20.5, 23, 23, 25.5, 28)cm. Cut yarn and set aside. Hope this helps.
