Thank you very much for the clarification. It seems the version of the pattern I downloaded in 2012 from patonsyarns.com had some errors. Looking forward to finally making this blanket.

Hello. I am stuck on 3rd rnd from: *1 sc in next sc. Ch2. The previous round (rnd 2) was all dc and ch stitches....so where are the sc that i am now supposed to stitch sc into. I am confused

    Asked by: Beck28
Hi. I double checked the 3rd rnd and was unable to find where you work into a sc? 3rd rnd reads: 3rd rnd: Sl st in next ch-2 sp. Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as last sl st. Ch 2. Miss next popcorn. *1 sc in next ch-2 sp. Ch 2. Miss next popcorn.* Rep from * to * 7 times more. **(1 sc. Ch 2. PM. 1 sc. Ch 2) in next ch-2 sp. Miss next popcorn.** Rep from * to * once more. Rep from ** to ** once more. Rep from * to * 9 times more. Rep from ** to ** once more. Rep from * to * once more. Rep from ** to ** once more. Join with sl st to first sc.

hi quick question want to know why is that my work pattern is coming out oval in the corners and that yours is pretty much square ? is there something i`m not doing right .... maybe the beg and popcorn stitch in the corners .... can`t figure it out .

    Asked by: Caloran26
Hi. The corners each have more sts worked into the ch 2 space, these extra sts will create the corner effect. In the 3rd rnd you will place a marder (PM) in each corner. In the 4th rnd you will work the extra sts to make the corner. **Ch 2. (Popcorn. Ch 2. PM. Popcorn) in marked ch-2 sp.** The corners will not show up until you have worked to at least the 4th rnd.

The first two rows - is it a total of 22 popcorn stitches?  I can’t get it to come out. Keep getting 23.

    Asked by: Cookie22
Hi. This is correct, you work 1 popcorn st before the repeat section. The repeat section reads to work 22 times more, not a total of 22 popcorns. you will have a total of 23 popcorn stitches. Good luck.

Yes support team i do , i'm at rnd 2 and it's not clear .... Is this pattern the popcorn stitch ???

    Asked by: Caloran26
Yes it is a popcorn st, in the 2nd rnd it explains how to do a beg popcorn as well as a complete popcorn. You will need to refer back to these instructions each time the patterns asks for them. Below are the instructions on how to do a beg popcorn and complete popcorn. I would recommend chaining a few sts and practice working each of these stitches. If this is not where you need help please let me know. Good luck. beg popcorn - Ch 3 (counts as dc). 3 dc in same sp as last sl st. LEAVE A LONG LOOP AND Drop loop from hook. Insert hook in top of ch 3 AT BEGINNING OF THE BEG POPCORN. Pull dropped loop through hook. popcorn made - 4 dc in next ch-2 sp. Drop loop from hook LEAVE ALONG LOOP. Insert hook in first dc AT BEGINNING OF THE POPCORN. Pull dropped loop through hook.
