INSTRUCTIONS

INSTRUCTIONS
Choose letters to wrap (see pages 2 and 3). Using printer or
photo-copier, enlarge letters to 500% to measure approx 6½"
[16.5 cm] high, or desired size. Trim paper around letters, leaving
approx 2" [5 cm] border.

Place wrong side of paper against foam core board and glue in
position (allowing room for all desired letters). Use scissors to
carefully cut out letter shape, using a ruler and craft knife when
necessary for straight edges.

Cut lengths of yarn approx 60" [152.5 cm] long. Begin at bottom
edge of letter and tape end of yarn to wrong side of foam core
letter to secure. Holding 2 strands of yarn, wrap yarn evenly
around foam core to cover. (For multi-color letters use 1 strand
each of A and B). Join new ends with tape on wrong side. You
may have to cut yarn lengths shorter to fit into smaller spaces
of individual letters. Use glue to secure yarn end and at center
of sections with wide wraps. Allow glue on letters to dry
thoroughly. Remove tape if desired.
