INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1:Fold foam along A as per Diagram I on page 2. Use paper-clips to keep folded foam in place. Using marker and ruler, mark position of holes 1/4" apart, so the stitching will be even.
Step 2:Using Overcast Stitch, stitch side edges together through both thicknesses as shown in picture. To secure yarn ends, tie in a knot or tape end inside.
Step 3:Following diagrams on page 2, make a Finger Chain approximately 35" [89 cm] long.
Step 4:Fold foam along B as per diagram. Punch hole in center of flap. Tie Finger Chain through hole making one end longer than the other. Use Finger Chain to tie pencil case closed.
