MEASUREMENTS

Measurements:
Approx. 12 x 16 ins [30.5 x 40.5 cm].

MATERIALS

Main Color (MC) () 1

Size 4½ mm (U.S. 7) knitting needles or size needed to obtain tension. One 12 x 16 ins [30.5 x 40.5 cm] pillow form.

GAUGE

20 sts and 26 rows = 4 ins [ 10 cm] in stocking st.

INSTRUCTIONS

 

 

 

FRONT

With MC, cast on 62 sts. Work in stocking st for 8 rows. Cont in stocking st. Proceed in stripe pat as follows:
1st and 2nd row:With A.
3rd to 6th rows: With B.
7th and 8th rows:With A.
9th to 22nd rows:With MC.
These 22 rows form stripe pat.
Rep these 22 rows 3 times more, then work 1st to 16th rows. Cast off.

BACK
Work as given for Front.

FINISHING
Sew side edges together. Sew top edges together, matching stripes. Insert pillow form. Sew bottom edges together, matching stripes.
