GAUGE

8 sts and 13 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st.

INSTRUCTIONS

With B, cast on 84 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle, proceed as follows:
1st row: (WS). Knit.
2nd row: With A, *(K2tog) twice. (yo. K1) 4 times. (K2tog) twice. Rep from * to end of row. 3rd row: K2. Purl to last 2 sts. K2.
4th to 7th rows: As 2nd and 3rd rows twice more.
8th and 9th rows: With B, knit.
10th to 13th rows: As 2nd and 3rd rows twice more.
14th and 15th rows: With B, knit.
16th and 17th rows: As 2nd and 3rd rows.
18th and 19th rows: With B, knit.
20th to 23rd rows: As 2nd and 3rd rows twice more.
24th and 25th rows: With B, knit.
Rep 2nd to 25th rows until work from beg measures approx 36" [91.5 cm], ending with 7th row.
With B, knit 2 rows. Cast off knitwise (WS).
