|1 ball each of A, B, C and D will make approx 10 Dishcloths. Size 4.5 mm (U.S. 7) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge.|
20 sts and 26 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st.
With A, cast on 30 sts.
1st row: (WS). *K1. Inc 1 in next st. Rep from * to end of row. 45 sts
2nd row: K1. *Sl1. K1. Rep from * to end of row.
3rd row: K1. *P1. K1. Rep from * to end of row.
Rep last 2 rows for pat until work from beg measures 2½" [6 cm], ending on a 3rd row. Break A.
Join B and cont even in pat until work from beg measures 5" [12.5 cm]. Break B.
Join C and work 4 rows even in pat.
Shape top: 1st row: (RS). K1. Sl1. K2tog. psso. Pat to last 4 sts. K3tog. K1.
2nd row: K1. *P1. K1. Rep from * to end of row.
Rep last 2 rows until there are 9 sts, ending on a WS row.
Cast off knitwise (RS).
With D, cast on 10 sts, beg with a purl row, work 3 rows reverse stocking st. Cast off purlwise (RS).
Sew Popsicle Stick to bottom of Dishcloth as shown in picture.
