psso = pass slipped stitch over

ssk = Slip next 2 stitches knitwise one at a time. Pass them back onto left-hand needle, then knit through back loops together.

FINISHING
Sew center back seam, inserting stuffing as you sew.
Twisted cord: Cut 2 lengths of yarn 14 ins [35.5 cm] long. Taking both strands tog and with someone holding opposite end, twist strands to the right until they begin to curl. Fold strands in half and secure ends.
Adjust length of cord and attach to top of ornament.
