Size U.S. 15 (10 mm) circular knitting needle 36" [90 cm] long or size needed to obtain gauge. Cable needle.

GAUGE

9 sts and 12 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].

INSTRUCTIONS

Cast on 123 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
Knit 3 rows (garter st), noting 1st row is WS. Inc 4 sts evenly across last row. 127 sts.

Proceed in Garter Block Pat as follows:
1st row: (RS). K1. *C2B. C2F. P7. C2B. C2F. K7. Rep from * to last 16 sts. C2B. C2F. P7. C2B. C2F. K1.
2nd row: K1. Purl to last st. K1.
3rd row: K1. *C2F. C2B. P7. C2F. C2B. K7. Rep from * to last 16 sts. C2F. C2B. P7. C2F. C2B. K1.
4th row: As 2nd row.
5th to 8th rows: As 1st to 4th rows once more.
9th row: K1. *C2B. C2F. P7. Rep from * to last 5 sts. C2B. C2F. K1.
10th row: As 2nd row.
