HOOD
With smaller needles, cast on 107 sts.
Knit 5 rows (garter st), noting first row is WS and inc 7 sts evenly across last row. 114 sts.

Change to larger needles and work in Cable and Lace Pat as given for Sleeves until Hood from beg measures approx 9" [23 cm], ending on a 10th row of pat.

Shape back: Proceed in reverse stocking st and cast off 12 sts beg next 8 rows. Cast off rem 18 sts.

FINISHING
Pin garment pieces to measurements. Cover with a damp cloth, leaving cloth to dry.

Right front edging: With RS facing and smaller needles, pick up and knit 85 (85-97-97-97-97) sts up right front edge from cast on edge to neck edge.
Knit 3 rows.
Next row: (RS). K1. *K2tog. Cast on 3 sts for toggle loop. K2tog. K16 (16-19-19-19-19). Rep from * 3 times more. K2tog. Cast on 3 sts for toggle loop. K2tog.
Cast off knitwise (WS).

Left front edging: With RS facing and smaller needles pick up and knit 85 (85-97-97-97-97) sts up right front edge from cast on edge to neck edge.
Knit 4 rows.
Cast off knitwise (WS).
Sew shoulder seams. Fold Hood in half and sew center back seam.
Sew side edge of Hood to neck edge matching center back seam to center back neck edge.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Sew in sleeves. Sew toggles in position to Left Front to correspond to toggle loops.
