Cont in pat until work from beg measures same length as Strip A or B, when slightly stretched, ending on a 3rd row of pat. Cast off.
Sew strips tog in the following order, beg at left: Strip A, Strip C, Strip B, Strip C, Strip A, Strip C, Strip B.
Side Edging: With RS of work facing, MC and circular needle, pick up and knit 228 sts evenly across long edge of Afghan. Work 8 rows garter st (knit every row). Cast off knitways. Rep across opposite edge.
Top and Bottom Edging: Work as given for Side Edging, picking up 182 sts evenly across rem edges.

PILLOW
Note: When working separate sections of colors in Pillow, wind small balls of the colors to be used, one for each area of colour in the design. Start new colors as indicated in instructions. To change colors, twist the two colors around each other where they meet, on WS, to avoid a hole.

With WS of work facing, join MC to rem sts.
