INSTRUCTIONS

SCARF

Ch 56.

Row 1 (RS): Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 3 ch, [dc2tog] 3 times, dc in next 3 ch, *3 dc in next ch, dc in next 3 ch, [dc2tog] 3 times, dc in next 3 ch; repeat from * across to last ch, 2 dc in last ch, turn—4 'waves'.

Row 2: Ch 3, 2 dc in first dc, ch 2, sk next 3 dc, sc in next dc, ch 4, sk next 3 dc2tog, sc in next dc, ch 2, sk next 3 dc, *5 dc in next dc, ch 2, sk next 3 dc, sc in next dc, ch 4, sk next 3 dc2tog, sc in next dc, ch 2, sk next 3 dc; repeat from * across, 3 dc in top of beginning ch, turn.

Row 3: Ch 3, dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, ch 2, sk next ch-2 sp, sc in next ch-4 sp, ch 2, sk next ch-2 sp, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, *3 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, ch 2, sk next ch-2 sp, sc in next ch-4 sp, ch 2, sk next ch-2 sp, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc; repeat from * across, 2 dc in top of turning ch, turn.

Repeat Rows 2–5 thirty more times or until scarf measures about 55"/139.5cm from beginning. Fasten off.

 

FINISHING

Using yarn needle, weave in all ends. Block lightly, to finished measurements (blocked).
