2nd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). *1 dc in next ch-1 sp. Ch 1. Miss next dc. Rep from * to last 2 sts. 1 dc in next ch-1 sp. 1 dc in 3rd ch of turning ch. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1). Miss next dc. *1 dc in next ch-1 sp. Ch 1. Miss next dc. Rep from * to last st. 1 dc in top of turning ch. Turn.
Rep last 2 rows until work from beg measures 66 ins [167.5 cm], ending with RS facing for next row. Fasten off.
Weaving: Taking 2 strands of A tog, thread through tapestry needle and weave 48 ins [122 cm] lengths of yarn through ch-1 sps of each RS row taking care to not weave too tightly. Join new lengths at sides of Scarf darning ends in securely.
Fringe: Cut a piece of cardboard 4 ins [10 cm] wide.
1st row: With RS facing, join MC with sl st to end of scarf. Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. *Wrap yarn around cardboard to form a loop. 1 sc in next sc to secure loop. Remove cardboard. Rep from * across row. Fasten off. Rep for other end of scarf.
