Size 5.5 mm (U.S. I or 9) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE

7 sps and 6 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in pat.

INSTRUCTIONS

Note:sp(s) = space(s). Pattern is calculated in spaces throughout.
Ch 201.
1st row:(WS). 1 dc in 5th ch from hook (counts as 1 dc and ch-1 sp). *Ch 1. Miss next ch. 1 dc in next ch. Rep from * across. 99 sps. Turn.
2nd row:Ch 4. Miss first ch-1 sp. 1 dc in next dc. (Ch 1. Miss next ch-1 sp. 1 dc in next dc) twice. *(Yoh and draw up a loop. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) 3 times in next ch-1 sp. Yoh and draw through all 4 loops on hook – cluster made. 1 dc in next dc. (Ch 1. Miss next ch-1 sp. 1 dc in next dc) 3 times. Rep from * to end of row. Turn.

2nd rnd: Ch 1. Working from left to right instead of from right to left as usual, work 1 reverse sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
